Tendinopathy & Tendon Pain

Stop the "Boom and Bust" Cycle of Tendon Pain.

The Problem: "It hurts, then it warms up, then it hurts again." Tendon pain (often called Tendonitis or Tendinosis) is stubborn. The classic pattern is pain that is stiff in the morning, warms up and feels okay during exercise, but flares up aggressively the next day. Many patients fall into the trap of resting until the pain is gone, then returning to sport, only to have the pain return immediately. This is because rest reduces the pain, but it also reduces the tendon's strength.

The Synergis Approach: Load is the CureTendons are designed to transfer energy like a spring. When they degrade, they lose that spring-like capacity. Unlike a muscle tear, tendons do not heal well with total rest. They require progressive loading to stimulate the cells to lay down new, healthy collagen.

We stop the guesswork of "how much is too much" by guiding you through the three phases of tendon rehab:

  1. Isometrics: Using static holds to reduce pain immediately without aggravating the tissue.
  2. Heavy Slow Resistance: Building the muscle and the tendon thickness.
  3. Energy Storage: Re-training the tendon to act like a spring again (plyometrics).

Conditions We Treat:

  • Achilles Tendinopathy: Morning stiffness and heel pain in runners.
  • Gluteal Tendinopathy: Lateral hip pain, often causing pain when lying on your side at night (often misdiagnosed as Bursitis).
  • Patellar Tendinopathy: "Jumper's Knee"—pain just below the kneecap.
  • Tennis & Golfer's Elbow: Pain on the outside or inside of the elbow from gripping.
  • Proximal Hamstring Tendinopathy: Deep buttock pain aggravated by sitting or sprinting.

Why Choose Synergis? We don't treat the "hole" (the missing part); we treat the "doughnut" (the healthy tissue surrounding it). By strengthening the healthy fibers, we can offload the painful area and get you back to activity even while the tendon is healing.
