Fees, Charges & Cancellation Policy

Synergis Fees:


Physiotherapy

  • Initial Assessment Consult: $115
  • Follow-up Consult: $99
  • Long Consult: $155
  • Complex Cases & Multiple problems:  $195

Private Health Insurance (PHI) rebates available via HICAPS for eligible health funds. Please contact your health insurance for details on out of pocket expenses.


Physiotherapy under Medicare & GP Chronic Disease Management Plans (EPC):

  • Initial Assessment Consult: $105.00 (Medicare Rebate $60.35, Gap Payment: $44.65)
  • Follow-up Consult: $90.00 (Medicare Rebate $60.35, Gap Payment: $29.65)


Physiotherapy is not fully funded under Medicare in private practice setting. Hence, providing gap-free service under the GP management plan is not feasible. Your eligible care plan will subsidise the fees of your consult. If you have a healthcare card or are under 16, your physiotherapy service may be bulk-billed*. This is subject to the practitioner's discretion and does not guarantee gap-free service. We must receive all current and eligible care plans 24 hours prior to your appointment. Failure to do this will attract full fees. 

 Note: Full payment of fees listed above must be made on the day before claiming Medicare rebate. 



DVA, 3rd Party & Compensable Clients (Worksafe Victoria & TAC): 

  • Bulk billed for eligible claims* 
  • Clients must provide proof of eligibility and relevant contact details of the employer or insurance agent.
  • All documentation should be received by us 24-hours prior to your appointment. Failure to do this will attract full fees on the day.


Products & Equipment: 

  • All products and equipment fees are payable on the day and cannot be claimed under PHI or Medicare.
  • Some items for 3rd Party eligible claims can be bulk billed. T&Cs apply. 


Cancellation & Rebooking Policy:

  • All cancellations require 24 hours notice from the time of your appointment
  • Cancellation of appointment within 2 hours or no-shows will be charged full service fees
  • Fees may be waived for unforeseen circumstances or 
  • if appointments are rebooked in reasonable time, within 7 days of cancelled appointment. 
  • Appointments may not be provided if there are outstanding accounts or in event of 3 consecutive cancellations.
  • Cancellation and rescheduling can be made by contacting us via info@synergis.au 
  • Proof of cancellation by you will be required to waive any fees. Failure of sent messages or emails are not considered proof of cancellation. 


+Service fees are subject to change without prior notice. All attempts will be made to notify clients of any changes 7 days prior to their scheduled appointments to minimise any inconvenience
